Aspen Wine Program

The Aspen Wine Program was established in 1967 in Mendocino County and is one of the areas best boutique wineries. Surrounded by mountains and vineyards, the beauty of this farm-style winery is as captivating as its Semillon. The Aspen Wine Program’s extraordinary winemakers, along with historic vineyards, combine to produce wines that express the nature of this renowned wine region.

Our amazing wines and wine club are created only with high-quality grapes from our family run vineyard and made in an acid-driven, balanced style that is excellent for the environment. We use winemaking techniques that preserve the wines nuances and highlight the special qualities of our red wines.

We usually harvest our grapes days before our neighbors do and more often than not rely on the naturally occurring yeasts from our vineyard for fermentation. It’s our belief that making organic wines is a full circle process that relies on healthy and organic soil, 100% natural winemaking and doing whats right for our customers. Which is why our wine club is constantly rated one of the best wine clubs in the area.

We think that our winery is the best vineyard you’ll ever have the chance of visiting. The wine is absolutely amazing and the people that work here are incredibly friendly and helpful. The Aspen Wine Program is open year-round, 5 days a week, making it very convenient to drop by almost any time you need your wine tasting fix.

In addition to our amazing Muscat, we also offer great pizzas, ice cold beer and mixed drinks. We also have a large indoor seating area and 2 gorgeous outdoor terraces that overlook our vineyard and the beautiful countryside. These are perfect places to drink one of our great bottles of wine.

When you join one of our wine clubs, you gain exclusive access to all Aspen Wine Program wine releases, including the most limited bottlings (those under 100 bottles produced).

Wine club shipments are sent two times a year, depending on the wine club you sign up for. With our wine club, you receive two bottles of wine, wine tasting notes, pairing suggestions and recipes with each shipment.

As an exclusive wine club member, you also get in person wine tastings of our rare wines with the winemaker, 20% off all Aspen Wine Program wine purchases, exclusive access to the vineyard’s private guest house and invitations to unique events throughout the year: parties, dinners, etc.

Your wine club billings will be made automatically to your credit card as soon as your shipment goes out the door. We happily accept Visa, Mastercard and the Discover card. The expected cost per shipment varies with the wines we send you but an estimated cost per wine shipment averages around $145 to $210 over the course of a year. Shipping & handling and sales tax are of course additional.

As a wine club member, you are entitled to 25 complimentary tastings for yourself and up to six guests. A special seated tasting can also be arranged for you and four guests by reservation. One caveat, due to certain state laws, is that we may only legally ship wines directly to wine club members in some specific states.
